In October 2020, the Jean Ip Foundation held a Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner and Scholarship Award event. At the event, the Jean Ip Foundation awarded 15 scholarships valued at $1,000 each; 10 scholarships valued at $2,000 each; and 2 scholarships valued at $10,000 each.  Through this act, a total of 27 scholarships, worth $55,000 in aggregate, were awarded to students attending the Richmond Christian School, the Vancouver Christian School, the Canadian Chinese School of Theology Vancouver, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help School.
